Loy Krathong水灯节
On the full moon of the twelfth Thai month, usually in November, people float little lotus-shaped rafts called krathongs, with candles and flowers, on rivers and ponds. The old city of Sukhothai lights up its ancient ruins.
在泰历十二月的月圆之夜，通常在十一月，人们把插着蜡烛和鲜花的莲花形小筏——水灯放到河流和池塘里。古城素可泰的遗迹也会被灯火点亮。
Fun fact趣味知识Krathongs are traditionally made from banana trunks and banana leaves so they don't pollute the water.传统的水灯用香蕉树干和香蕉叶做成，这样就不会污染河水。
